Revvidy’s plate::handler Flex robotic arm, the centerpiece of CBmed’s drug screening platform, is a next-generation industrial robotic arm designed to work side-by-side with humans. As a result, this plate handling system can handle cell culture and drug source plates in an automated, precise and highly effective manner. This reduces the risk of contamination, increases precision, reproducibility and consistency and enables experiments to be scaled up to a high throughput level.
The robotic arm is integrated with all parts of the drug screening platform, including automated plate unsealing and sealing stations and a barcode reader, ensuring efficient sample processing and data tracking. It also works in conjunction with various high-performance devices such as the Echo 650 Liquid Handler, the EnVision® 2105 Multimode Plate Reader, the StoreX Precision Incubator, the Operetta CLS High-Content Analysis System and the MultiFlo FX Multi-Mode Dispenser, which are also integrated into our screening platform. These integrations allow the platform to automate and streamline complex workflows without the need for detailed manual handling of individual devices.
