In CBmed’s automated high-throughput screening, compounds are dispensed with high accuracy and precision using the Beckman Coulter Echo 650. The Echo utilizes acoustic droplet ejection (ADE) technology to transfer liquids at the nanoliter scale from the source plate to the destination plate, which contains either cell lines or patient-derived cells. This technology enables CBmed to perform screening assays with a wide range of compounds, such as antibodies or small molecules, while minimizing waste and reducing the costs associated with high-throughput screening.
